New Support Website To Bring CBP To Coachella
The purpose of the site is to help build community support for introducing a U.S. Customs presence at the airport. The Coachella Valley serves a high volume of travelers, business leaders, and government personnel, and having on-site customs clearance would be a major time-saver for the region. Beyond convenience, this enhancement could also generate meaningful economic benefits for the local community.
The project was initiated by The Widroe Group on behalf of the Twenty-Nine Palms Band of Mission Indians and was inspired by the success of a similar campaign we executed together in Santa Maria, California. In Color provided the visual design, branding direction, and full website development for jcracustoms.com.
A key feature of the site is its pair of “Letter Wizards,” which help supporters quickly generate tailored messages advocating for the addition of Customs and Border Protection services at the airport. This tool enables the Tribe and its partners to efficiently gather community support and clearly communicate the benefits of the proposal.
